It took us many years to find the right warmblood mare that will help us strive for the perfect Morgan X competition horse. Now here she is.
Bubbles carries lines to Flaneur on both sides of her pedigree, with Valuta on her Dams side.
We named this mare Bubbles because I couldn't stop calling her 'My Bubby' when she was born, until one day a friend reminded me that this foal was going to grow into one big girl. She certainly has done that.....Gentle...Gentle mare.
This mare comes from a line of true competitive dressage horses with her sire "Mozzimo" being campaigned successfully by Nadine O'Sullivan of Rimini Park Warmblood stud at Myrtleford.

We purchased this beautiful filly from Megan Kelly of 'Kelford Morgan Farm' Timaru NZ.
'Song' has joined our breeding programme and will be breed this season to our stallion 'Karenza Apollo'. We are hoping for a very classy black Morgan foal, as Song is a true black mare with no brown markings.
I was very excited to find this mare's sire is a great grandson of the infamous Waseeka's In Command, a stallion that inspired me many years ago to start our own Morgan Stud.
This filly brings in a variety of Morgans in her pedigree that alows us to breed her to Baptiste Levis Strauss or Karenza Apollo.

Our mares run all together through the winter months in our 30 acre tree paddock, which has 2 dams for playing in.
Even if it's cold, they will jump in for a splash. This paddock used to be an old gravel pit, so you can imagine that some of the area is quiet rough and teaches the horses to watch where they are going, at the same time building balance and a happy attitude.
The mares that are due to foal will be bought in a few months earlier to settle into their foaling down paddock and will wear a foal alarm to ensure we are there when the foal is born.
As spring approaches, we will bring the mares into paddocks closer to the stallions for breeding.
